Mike has been called a dork throughout his life but wears “The Cork Dork” name with a badge of honor.
The allure of the grape called after a fun career as a branding executive for food and spirits companies. Hospitality, entertaining and teaching is his DNA.
To become a real Cork Dork, Mike spent too many hours in wine classes, working at PNW wineries, experiencing everything from crush to bottling, developing wine brands and tasting “a lot” of wine from around the world.
Now his world is back in his hometown of Chicago making sure everyone toasts the fun of life.
